RALPH ALEXANDER MACCORMACK Born: April 10, 1952 Passed Away: July 18, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, brother and uncle, Ralph Alexander MacCormack. Ralph died in Halifax on July 18, 2018 after recently moving back to the province he loved. Retired from the Canadian Forces as a Master Warrant Officer, Ralph served in Alert and had two peace keeping missions in Cyprus. Ralph was a person who loved to chat with anyone he met. Kind and charismatic, he could be counted on to help anyone, with a joke, a pot of homemade beans or a hug. An avid gardener in his later years, Ralph was looking forward to having his own garden at his new apartment overlooking the Halifax harbour. Ralph will be deeply missed by his children, Denise Flint (Jamie), and Greg; grandchildren, Ashley and Holly Flint (granddogs - Daisy and Pugsley), and Donna, all of Winnipeg. He is also survived by numerous siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. Donations can be made to Diabetes Canada. A funeral mass has already taken place in Dartmouth. We love you Dad.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I worked with Ralph in the Officers’ Mess many years ago at the then CFB Westwin (now 17 Wing). I remember him as a very hardworking but fun loving person with a great sense of humour. Always ready with a joke, which was cause for a good laugh. I have fond memories of working with him. My Deepest Condolences to Ralph’s family and loved ones on his passing. Sincerely, Doreen Mihalus - Posted by: Doreen Mihalus (Former co-worker CFB Westwin ) on: Jul 28, 2018
