DONNA ELLEN LEE (nee DEMETRIOFF) On Sunday, August 5, 2018, Donna Ellen Lee passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born May 20, 1954, Donna grew up in St. Boniface in Winnipeg, along with her three sisters and four brothers. Numerous extended family members were close by which taught her the value of family. Upon graduating from Louis Riel High School in Winnipeg, Donna began working in retail. Over the years she was employed at Woolco, Saan, and Future Shop (now Best Buy), starting as an associate and working her way to management. Family was especially important to Donna and she was an avid supporter of her children and grandchildren, and always looked forward to family dinners. When not at work, Donna enjoyed reading, gardening, movies and camping. Donna will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jim; son Michael (Elizabeth); son Robert; daughter Jennifer; grandchildren, Leanne, Alex, Natasha, Jenna (Arthur), Keaton and Alissa; great-grandchildren, Makar and Stefanie; siblings, Rosie (Jim), Dolores (Ron), Gloria and Gary; sisters-in-law, Carol (Peter), Janice (Brad) and Gloria, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Alex; mother Maria; brothers, Peter, Edward and Alex Jr.; father-in-law Victor; mother-in-law Millie; brothers-in-law, Torrie and Doug; and sister-in-law Hazel. The celebration of Donna's life will take place at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, Brandon, on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Urn bearer will be Robert Lee. A reception will follow at Memories Chapel. Donations in memory of Donna may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #3-2430 Victoria Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba R7B 0M5.
