Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) APPLEYARD May 11, 1937 - August 9, 2018 Betty was predeceased by her mother Violet Appleyard, and her sister Dorothy Campbell. She is survived by Dorothy's children and grandchildren, and many cousins, especially Nora Latour, Shirley Rochon and Millie Hemmelgarn. Betty participated at a workshop at Notre Dame, MB, where she enjoyed the interaction, learning and using a little French and cuddling the cats. During these years she lived at the Saint Claude Residence where she loved the activities and staff, brief holidays at the lake and others with her Winnipeg cousins. Special thanks to Jodi Sigurdson for her care and special services. In 2013, Betty moved to Salem Home in Winkler. Thank you to Dayna Jonasson and all the staff at Salem Home for the outstanding care and friendship extended to Betty in her five year stay. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Salem Home, 165 15th Street in Winkler, with a private family burial to follow at Argyle Cemetery at a later date.
