RICHARD LEN FELDSCHUN It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Richard, at the Seven Oaks Hospital with family by his side, on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at the young age of 46. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Manny and Marie, sister Nancy (Jake), brother Raymond (Shaylene), nephew Justin and niece Jenna, aunt Eleanor, uncles, Jerry (Sherry) and Willie (Dorothy) and cousins, Cheri, Charlene, Johnny, Roseanne, Maryanne and Diedre. From a young age Richard had kept us on our toes. He loved helping all animals and if in need, brought them home to care for. Our springs and summers were usually filled with fishing adventures to Dauphin River, Fairford and Snow Lake which he always enjoyed with true passion. During winter months you could always find him at Robert A. Steen Community Centre playing hockey. He was artistic, loved to write poetry and taught himself to play guitar. He was always hardworking, focused on self-improvement and always there for others in need, even if only to talk. There was never a dull moment when he visited as the room would fill with smiles and laughter. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Rosie and Jim Bilyk, Ella and Alex Feldschun, aunts, Arlene, Sheila and Diane, and uncle Alex. Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of Richard's life will be held. We wish to thank the wonderful, caring staff in the ICU. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society. If tears could build a stairway And memories were a lane, We would walk right up to heaven And bring you back again. No farewell words were spoken No time to say goodbye, You were gone before we knew it And only God knows why. Our hearts still ache in sadness, And secret tears still flow; What it meant to lose you No one will ever know. But now we know you want us To mourn for you no more, To remember all the happy times Life still has much in store. Since you'll never be forgotten We pledge to you today; A hallowed place within our heart Is where you'll always stay. 204-782-3541
