HELEN BEAUCHAMP (MASON) After her very short battle with cancer, on September 7, 2018, with her family surrounding her, Helen Beauchamp peacefully passed away at the age of 76 years. She was predeceased by her husband Cally, sisters, Marlene and Vera, and brothers and sisters-in-law. She will be forever loved and missed by her children, Craig (Kim), Jim (Laura) and Brenda; her grandchildren, Alana (Shaun) Fehr, Kristin, Jeremy (Meagan), Brandi, Travis and David; her great-grandchildren, Emily, Haleyna, Logan, Natalia, Callen and Paisley; as well as her sister Gwen Johnson, brother Ken (Sylvia) Mason, and many other cherished family members. Grama was born on September 27, 1941 and grew up on the Mason family farm in Oak Point, MB. Grama and Grampa raised their family in Woodlands where she loved watching her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids in all they enjoyed. Summers were spent fishing at Fairford with family and friends. She was known as Grama B to many. There was ice cream to be had no matter who you were or the time of day. Making perogies and teaching us to can was a favourite pastime. She enjoyed playing cards, bus trips and dancing with her friends. She was also an active member of the Woodlands Legion and Pioneer Museum. Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodlands Community Hall, Woodlands, Manitoba. Our family would like to thank the staff at Stonewall Hospital for the tremendous care and support they gave Grama during her stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to S.W. Palliative Care, Box 1282, Stonewall, MB R0C 2Z0 or CancerCare Manitoba. Ken Loehmer Funeral Services 204-886-0404

  • Helen was one of the nicest people I knew. Friendly, fun and alway ready to lend a hand. Brenda, I know you will miss her, as will your brothers, but I'm sure you will have many occasions to laugh at/with your memories of a very fine lady.
