Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I worked with Ed for a few years at Trealship Services in Winnipeg. He was our lift operator. He was a kind, gentle soul and we were sorry to see him leave our company. He was very well liked by all. My sympathies to his family. - Posted by: Dorothy Meads (Worked with Ed) on: Oct 16, 2018

  • Ed was a great friend during the time we attended U of M in the mid 70's. We spent lots of time together along with our fellow classmates and shared many laughs and good times. Life got busy with families and farm work and time passed and now so has a dear friend, ED. I'll always remember his robust laugh and the times we had. My most sincere condolences to his family and friends. - Posted by: Larry Prasek (Friends while attending UofM ) on: Sep 21, 2018

  • Although I did not get to know Ed as a close friend during my two years in class with him, I admired him for the way he handled himself. He knew how to connect with people without imposing himself and carefully managed his relationships and treasured the many friends he made. I admired his athletic talent and it seemed no matter what sport he engaged in, he made it all look very easy. He will be remembered for his big smile and gentle spirit. - Posted by: Frank Toews (Grade 11 & 12 class mate) on: Sep 21, 2018
