ADELE MONIZ With deep sadness our family announces the passing of Adele Moniz (Chimuk) on September 18, 2018. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Adele was a positive, kind hearted person. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She loved her family and friends and loved mostly spending time keeping up with her grandchildren. She was a special person to many people. She was caring, thoughtful and full of energy. She will be forever remembered by her husband John; and her children Alyssa (Mark), Andrea (Jeff), Paul (Jamie); and her six grandchildren, Grace, Benjamin, Addison, Ruby, Ethan and Emma; her brother and sister, Chris and Debbie and their families; and her mother Helen. She was predeceased by her father Arthur. Adele was well loved and will be missed by everyone. Adele and her family would like to thank all the staff at Health Sciences Centre and Concordia Hospital for the great care she received while in hospital. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Mom, you were our angel on earth and will continue to be with us in our hearts forever.

Adele was a wonderful friend to me for well over 40 years. She worked hard all her life as a dental assistant, & was dedicated to her co-workers & her employers. Even though we started out as co-workers we became close friends. She definitely made the world a better place for those she knew & loved. Missing you, Adele!
