MARIA ANTONIETA DA ENCARNACAO COSTA It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on September 11, 2018, at the age of 89 years. Born in Ponta Delgada, Açores, Antonieta was predeceased by her loving husband Jose Da Costa; parents, Manuel and Rosa; sister Joana, and niece Susana. She will be forever remembered and greatly missed by her daughters, Lucilla (Carlos), Trindade and Rosa; grandchildren, Isabel (Jeff), Chris and Chantelle (Jose); great-grandchildren, Nicholas (Brooke), Hunter, Carter, Alysia and Christian; great-great-granddaughter Sawyer; brother Manuel (Maria); nieces and nephews, both here and in Açores and Portugal, Ligia (Tussilo), Jose X, Gabriela (Joao), Carlos (Mary), Clara (Mario), Carmen (Tony), Joao (Alexandra) and John E, as well as many great-nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She will also be greatly missed by those who thought of her as a mother and grandmother, Manuela (Jim), Lisa, Michael and Ava. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Parkview Place Nursing Home and the 3rd floor staff at Concordia Hospital for the special, loving and compassionate care she received. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Siloam Mission in her name. Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2018 with visitation one hour prior, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 4588 Roblin Blvd. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
