ROSE FLORENCE PITZL (nee NOBISS) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Rose passed away on September 20, 2018, at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 76 years. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Joseph Pitzl. She also leaves behind her daughter Karen; grandchildren, Sammy and Michelle; and brother Dave (Linda) Nobiss. Rose was predeceased by her son, Joey Pitzl; sisters, Mary, Kay, Sarah and Annie; brothers, Tommy, Sonny, Alvin, Joe and Paul. Rose received a second chance on life when she received a kidney donation. She volunteered her time visiting dialysis patients at a variety of hospitals. Rose enjoyed her time on the computer, playing games and talking to family and friends. A service to celebrate Rose's life will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals, 1111 Logan Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. The family would like to extend a special thank you to staff from Seven Oaks Hospital, Linda and Dave Nobiss, Sharon Leach and family, and Wendy Laurencelle and family, for the attentive care they gave to Rose. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
