EVELYN BOWSER Peacefully, with her family at her side, Evelyn Jean Bowser (nee White) passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at the Lions Prairie Manor, at the age of 84 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Linda (Joss) Blanchette of Trenton, ON and Rick (Joan) Bowser of Portage la Prairie, MB; grandchildren, Marc (Jackie) Blanchette, Chris (Trisha) Blanchette, Aime (Scott) Hogan, Karen Moar and Daniel Bowser (Jodi Sigurdson); and great-grandchildren, Grace and Renee Moar. Her extended family includes many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Perry Bowser; parents, Arthur and Isabel White; brothers, Roy and Fred White, and sisters, Eleanor Pilon and May Garbutt. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at St. Mary's La Prairie Anglican Church at 11:00 a.m. Evelyn's family invite you to join them for lunch and refreshments following the service. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations in Evelyn's memory may be made to St. Mary's Anglican Church, 36 2nd St. SW, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 2A1 or to Central Plains Cancer Services, 318 E Saskatchewan Ave., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1379 Kenaston Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB, R3P 2T5.
