MAURICE DESAUTELS Maurice Desautels, 72, of Winnipeg, MB, succumbed to cancer, surrounded by his family, on October 2, 2018. Maurice is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ilse; along with four children: Richard (Crystal) of Kamloops, BC, Michael (Barb) of Edmonton, AB, Keith (Connie) and Brian (Meagan) of Winnipeg, MB; eight grandchildren, Lindsay, Alex, Brianne, Alexandra, Ethan, Owen, Matthew and Mia; sisters, Leona (Ed), Louise (Bob), and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Maurice was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to everyone. He loved sports, especially watching his grandchildren's hockey games. He was always there to help relatives and friends whenever needed. A special thank you to Concordia Hospital staff for their loving care and support.
