A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.

Dan was a kind and gentle man. He was like an uncle to four of our children while my wife and I were living in Portage la Prairie. We were away from family at the time - and Dan was always there to lend a hand. He loved to hear music around our backyard campfires-and would get a kick out of the kids and their antics. As as respected employee of Canada Post, we affectionately called him "mailman Dan" ... he liked that. Godfather to my youngest son Matt, he will always be remembered as a sweet and considerate friend - and uncle. May God rest your soul, dear mailman Dan!
