Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) HIEBERT February 18, 1925 - September 26, 2018 Peacefully, with his family by his side, William (Bill) Hiebert passed away at the age of 93. Dad will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his children: son John (Leanne) Hiebert and daughters, Sandra (Reynold) Loewen, Kim (Tom) Ploquin and son-in-law Wayne L'Esperance; nine grandchildren: Christine (Gerry), Virginia (Wesley), Kaylee (Tom), Sean, Brian, Adam, Nicolas, Robyn and Danielle; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, David (Mary) Hiebert, Jake Hiebert, Erna (Ben) Thiessen, sister-in-law Myrtle Hiebert, cousins and many nieces, nephews and their children. Bill was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Peggy (2009), his oldest daughter Linda (2011) and his brothers, Henry (Muriel) Hiebert, John (Joyce) Hiebert, Fred Hiebert and his sister Elsie (Henry) Brucks and sister-in-law Hertha Hiebert. The family would like to express their thanks to Kim and staff at The Terrace at St. James Kiwanis Village where Dad resided, the staff at Health Sciences Centre and special gratitude goes out to his nurses in CCU, Leo and Bev, for their care and compassion. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Khartum Shriners. Our sincerest condolences to you all during this difficult time. I have very fond memories of Mr Hiebert and your family home on Bedson. He always treated me like family.
