Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (JIM) HOWARD CASON James (Jim) Howard Cason, 66, of Winnipeg, MB passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 6, 2018. He was originally from Gilbert Plains, MB, born on April 24, 1952 to the late Hubert and Helen Cason. Jim was a HVAC Technician, who took pride in his work and helping others. He married Bonnie Marie Basaraba on July 8, 1972. Jim is survived by his only son: Robert (Rob) James Cason, his two sisters: Olene (Jim) Dyck and Lynn Baker, nephew: Collin Dyck, niece: Alyssa (Mike) Fehr, great-nephew: Theo Fehr, and beloved family dog Ginger. A funeral will not be held, as per Jim's final wishes. The spreading of his ashes will take place in Grandview, MB, with close friends and family on Saturday, October 20, 2018. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or D'Arcy's ARC (Animal Rescue Centre), in memory of James. I met Jim about 15 years ago when I needed a hot water tank replaced. We became fast friends as we both had a love of motorcycles.
