JENNIFER AGNES GRACE (nee HEARD) July 21, 1948 - October 27, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jennifer Grace, aged 70. Jennifer lost her battle with cancer with her family by her side on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Jennifer is predeceased by her parents, Bill and Jean Heard, her in-laws, Walter and Jean Grace and her sister-in-law Linda Heard. She leaves to mourn her husband Glenn, her children, Pam, Chris (Teri) and Wendy, her grandchildren, Kirsten (Jared), Angus, Larz, Christopher, Maddy and Tyler, her brother Bill, her cousin Billy (Rayma), fur grandchildren, Zoey, Jimmy, Maggie and many cousins, aunts and uncles in the UK. Jennifer was born in Edinburgh, Bonnie Scotland where she spent her youth and started her family before moving to Winnipeg in 1969. Jennifer was able to enjoy a lot of travelling. She loved spending time with her family, gardening and her side trips with Glenn birdwatching. Jennifer worked for Geo. N. Jacksons for over 30 years where she made many lifelong friends. A private interment will take place prior to the service. A memorial service will take place at Cropo Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Jennifer has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to CancerCare Manitoba. The family wants to thank all the doctors, nurses' aides and palliative care staff for all the love, patience and support they showed our wife, mother and grandmother. Jennifer wanted to let everyone know a couple of things. I loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. To Billy Denny - thank you for making me a better person. "Be kind and hug lots."
