PATRICIA WOELKE After many years of declining health and loving care, Patricia Woelke passed away in Parkview Place on November 13, 2018, at the age of 93. She was born to Jean Acheson Weir and Hewitt Homer Scott on February 23, 1925 and grew up in Winnipeg. The family expanded to five, with sisters, Marcia and Morna, all of whom predeceased Pat. As a young woman, Pat married John Woelke, and joined him in the business interests he pursued. A certificate from Success Business College remained on her walls till her death. Pat and John embraced two children into their home, Brian (Doreen), of Nanoose Bay, BC and Wendy (Al) Campbell, now deceased, who lived in Edmonton. Her Christian faith remained the anchor for her life, despite years that brought both challenges and setbacks. Besides her son, daughter-in-law and son-in-law, she is also survived by a sister-in-law, Evelyn Woelke. The funeral for Pat Woelke will take place at River East Church, 755 McLeod Ave., Tuesday, November 20 at 10:00 a.m. where she was a member. We bless her memory.
