Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGARY ERNEST FULLER It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gary Ernest Fuller in Neepawa, Manitoba on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the age of 73 years old. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner Jean Blatt, his children, Tracey and Sean (Paula Evaskavich), stepson Michael, his grandchildren, Trevor and Kyra Allerton, and Jean's family, Jim Holmes (Cathy McGrath) and Glenda (Peter) McGrath. Gary was born on February 14, 1945 and was the son of Ernest and Beatrice Fuller. He grew up in the Elmwood neighbourhood of Winnipeg. Our dad was an extremely intelligent man and always a hard worker. He began working at an early age in his parent's Deli store "Kelvin Meats" on Henderson Highway riding his bicycle to make meat deliveries. This strong work ethic carried him well throughout the years. He was proud to serve his country and enlisted in the Navy (HMCS Cornwallis, Skeena Division). After the Navy, he enjoyed a lengthy career at Canada Packers working his way up from a Labourer to Superintendent. He continued on the management path with Jack Forgan Meats and Springhill Farms and then as a buyer with Northern Meats. He was known for his loyalty to friends and family and willingness to lend a hand. He volunteered as a coach for his son's hockey and football teams. Friends fondly reminisce over grand fishing adventures. Dad was always up for a card game and was happy when he could finally play crib with his grandchildren. He was very proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow. When Dad moved to Neepawa, he met Jean. They enjoyed socializing and fussing over their furry children. Dad was a real softie when it came to animals and no animal ever went unfed with him around. Having Jean as his partner for 20 years was truly a blessing and we are so grateful to her for all her love and care of Dad during their time together. In keeping with Dad's wishes, there will be no formal service. We are also thankful to Country Meadows Personal Care home for their care of Dad. We love you Dad and you will be forever missed.
