Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCARROLL LYNN MORCOMBE 1946 - 2018 Carroll Lynn Morcombe, 72, passed away on October 24, 2018 in Winnipeg MB. She was born in Winnipeg on July 8, 1946 to Donald and Pearl Gertrude Zest Morcombe. Carroll loved her family and friends unconditionally. She will be remembered as a woman of integrity, charity, compassion, kindness, thoughtfulness, gratitude and joy. These characteristics uplifted family, friends and all she came in contact with and continue to bless their lives. Carroll was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed the friendship of her sisters and brothers in the Church, as well as helping the children in the nursery and primary. In lieu of flowers, Carroll requested that donations be made to the Humanitarian Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or to a charity of one's choice. Gratitude is extended to the home care workers, community therapists, and live-in companions who helped her remain living at home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 45 Dalhousie Drive, Winnipeg. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue on Monday, December 3, 2018. I was so saddened to hear about Carroll. When we picked her up for church, I would ask how she was. Her answer was always "just peachy!". I will miss that and it is a memory I will treasure.
