ALDONA THERESA RUTKAUSKAS Our dear and beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother passed away peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Lovingly referred to as "Baba", Aldona was born April 23, 1929 in Lithuania. She immigrated to Canada in 1947 where she met Valentinas, her loving spouse of 58 years who predeceased her in 2008. Together Valentinas and Aldona made a home for themselves and their six children, Irene (Brian), Roland (Gisela), Lucy (Walter), Arvy (Terry), Laima (Wayne) and Rasa. All her children and their families will grieve her loss and forever cherish her memory. A private family service has taken place. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the many health care providers at Riverview Personal Care Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Riverview Health Care Foundation or a charity of your choice.
