  • Rest in peace! - Posted by: Israel Kabashiki (Co-worker) on: Jul 13, 2020

  • Hi Jan and family. I was doing a career walk down memory lane (at 56 years of age) and my coach asked me to identify my "career heros" as a way to help me look at my career through a lens of happiness and look to do the things that brought me joy going forward. Gord is one of my career heros - he met me - saw something - thankfully because I didn't - took me under his wing - and offered me amazing work that fulfilled and made me feel good on 9 out of 10 days. More in line with his love of fishing and many events he talked about being on with Jan and a sparkle in his eye - he sourced my water flotation life jacket so I could snowmobile with my Gary without having panic attacks on the frozen lakes and rivers. He was just an amazing gentleman and I am sending my condolences late as I wasn't expecting this ending to reaching out to one of my career heros. • On behalf of our league, the Rossmere Challengers, we offer our deepest condolences to his wife Jan and also to the family. We bowled with Gord and Jan and Darcey for many years at Rossmere Lanes. There was always laughter and some jokes (and recipes) being shared. Gord was a team member always amazing us with his bowling ball aim with that curve ball-throw. R. I. P. Gord. We’ll miss you. - Posted by: Phyllis and Wolfgang Luedtke (Fellow Bowlers of Rossmere Challengers ) on: Nov 27, 2018

  • So sorry to hear. You are in my thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Bobbie Tougas (grade school & dogs) on: Nov 27, 2018
