BELLA MARIE EINARSSON May 1, 1937 - November 23, 2018 Bella passed away very peacefully at home surrounded by her family, as was her wish. Our hearts are broken but also filled with the love and memories she has given us. She leaves her devoted partner of 27 years, Earl Stephenson; her daughter Mona; and grandsons, Ryan (April) and Richard. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Roland and Claudette Proulx of Ste. Rose Du Lac and their family. As well, our dear friend, Bella's best friend, Michelle Mousseau, who gave her "Maman" much love and laughter and was such a support to our entire family. Memere's boys were everything to her. They loved her immensely and she returned that love tenfold. When April came into our lives ten years ago, Memere embraced her as another grandchild. It gave her much joy to be able to attend the wedding of Ryan and April this past June and to see Richard stand proudly beside his brother as best man. Memere's boys. The best chef and gardener, chickadee lover, wickedly funny, feisty, five foot zero bundle of energy will be terribly missed. For giving us the gift of time, we are forever grateful to Dr. Colin Botkin, Dr. James Paul and the incredible nurses at Health Sciences Centre CancerCare. For enabling us to honour Bella's wish to remain at home we are equally grateful to the WRHA Palliative Home Care team. Special thanks to Mom's primary R.N., Lisa. We hope you know how amazing you ALL are. Although Bella loved her flowers, they are gratefully declined. If friends desire, a donation to CancerCare Manitoba would be helpful and important. A private family celebration of her life is being planned. Nous t'aimons pour toujours et à jamias.

Even though it's been many years since we were neighbors and a long time since I saw your mom, I'll never forget her warmth and her brilliant smile. What a terrible loss for you and your family. I am so sorry. When - if - you feel inclined, please don't hesitate to reach out, by email, phone or letter. Take care of yourself. - Posted by: Laura Langston (friend) on: Jan 28, 2019

Bella was such a beautiful person in every way. She would come into my salon and light up the entire room. Everone loved her and interacted with her. So young at heart and a joy to have known.
