Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryESTHER LILLIAN SOLOMCHUK (nee DYCK) Esther Lillian Solomchuk (nee Dyck) passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2018. Esther was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Edward (Eddie). Esther will be missed by her children, Bruce (Janice Pare), Joanne West (Brian) and Jane Cook (Paul); her grandchildren, Wendy (Dan Carpenter) Solomchuk, Lisa (Andrew Randle) Solomchuk, Jacqueline (Brian) Boonstra, Michael (Gina) West, Jennifer (Roland) Maitre, Bret (Stephanie) Gudmundson, Tara (Blake) Pankratz, Erik Gudmundson and her great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Tyler Carpenter, Phoebe Randle, Jonathan, Emily, Madeline and Thomas Boonstra, Matthew West, Eli and Avery Reimer, Max and Lane Maitre, Odin and Petra Gudmundson. After Eddie's passing Esther moved to Devonshire House 1. The family is very grateful to the Devonshire House staff and residents for their caring ways and the fellowship they shared with Mom. She enjoyed living there, especially the bingo and evening dominoes. We would also like to express our appreciation to her Nurse Practitioner, Kelly Lynn Bekar for the kind and compassionate care that she provided. In keeping with Esther's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private interment will be held at a later date. Condolences may be left at seasonsfunerals.ca
