I remember the wonderful holiday times we all spent at Grandmas and Grandpas as kids. And even though the cousins have gone our separate ways, Anne and Douglas Grose and our two sons would like to extend our condolences to Ken, Larry and Terry and their families. - Posted by: Douglas Grose (Cousin) on: Dec 10, 2018

Miss Hooper was a wonderful gym teacher at Alexander Ross. I will always remember the day in grade eight one of the girls was very very upset about her parents putting her on 'the pill". Miss Hooper cancelled the gym class planned for the hour and instead gathered all us girls around her and talked to us about it the entire time. What a caring person she was. I also remember the time a politician came to one of our gatherings and Miss Hooper totally stumped him with one of her questions. I don't remember what it was about, but it was sure funny! She was a great person, she will always be remembered and missed. I am very sorry for your loss. Janett Hines (former student at Alexander Ross School) - Posted by: Janett (Hines) on: Dec 03, 2018

Brenda was a great mathematics teacher. I had the pleasure of working with her as her principal at both Brooklands and Silver Heights. She had a wonderful sense of humour. My condolences to her brothers and their families. Rest in peace, my friend. - Posted by: Dorothy Young (Friend and co-worker) on: Dec 01, 2018
