I am so sorry to hear of Marion's passing. She was my best friend all through nursing school at WGH back in 1956-59.Without her I wouldn't have made it through our training. Unfortunately people drift apart over the years. I saw her last year at our nursing school luncheon but not since which is very unfortunate but that is how things go. May your good memories with her & your dad sustain you through this difficult time. Kris. - Posted by: Kris Laxdal (nursing classmate) on: Dec 07, 2018

I will always remember the brunches your family came to with your mother. I also was the nurse at Good Neighbours with both your dear dad Edward and mother Marion. They both brought such spark to the place. Marion never forgot her Swedish heritage and we enjoyed a special connection for that and for both being nurses. A GREAT LADY! Loved her. Sonja The Club will always welcome you for a return visit with the Swedes here. - Posted by: Swedish Cultural Association (friend and member ) on: Dec 02, 2018
