Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • My deepest condolences to all of you. It is such a hard time when we lose our moms. They are so special and have taught us to be kind and loving and friendly. They love us unconditionally. And we love them back in return. We all went to school together and had some fun times. A very empty place in your hearts for sure. Your mom will surely be missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Barbara Tanner (née Baggott) (Friend from Charleswood ) on: Jan 02, 2019

  • Sheila was the mother of my best friend in the world, Heather. We went on many road trips together, the three of us. Luncheons, tea, Shelmerdines, The Zoo, the cottage and too many more to mention. Heather visited her Mom Sheila twice a week for years, and I often accompanied her. Sheila would entertain us with stories of life in England, the war, the love of her life, Ken, and their home in Charleswood. She had a big heart and a lot of love for her family and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren. She always told us “she was a great Grandmother” and I believe she was. I will miss her very much and our little road trips. She would always say when I walked her to her door. “Don’t forget about me Rosie, seems most of them have”. I think this was her memory failing her. Sleep well, Mom, join your love, and children, and see you again one day. In Heaven. - Posted by: Rosilie Johnson (She called me daughter, I called her friend, mom, confidant, fellow plant efficianato. ) on: Dec 04, 2018
