Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE THELMA DAWSON On December 5, 2018 Irene passed away peacefully at the age of 96 years. Irene was born in Brandon in 1922 and raised in the Moore Park area, near Minnedosa. She was the youngest of 12 siblings born to Martha and William Stapleton. Irene was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Chuck, in 2004. She was also predeceased by her parents and siblings, Olive, Florence, William, Marguerette, Mabel, Gordon, Edna, Orville, Ruth, Mildred and Jean. She is survived by her two children, Sharon (Barry) and Ron (Susan), five grandchildren (Tracy/Tom, Trevor/Rick, Kevin/Victoria, Chazz and Quinn), and five great-grandchildren (Brooklyn, Lawrence, Spencer, Gemma and Hudson). Mom especially enjoyed spending time in her garden and yard, both at home and at the family cottage at Victoria Beach. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
