ARTHUR (ART) ELIAS On December 16, 2018, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Art passed away at Health Sciences Centre with family by his side. An afternoon to remember Art will take place at Niakwa Golf and Country Club, 620 Niakwa Road on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or Canadian Diabetes Association. I think it is every employer’s job to teach their employees so that they leave knowing more than when they arrived, however very few ever do this. Art was my boss for many years and I can honestly say that he taught me more than any other. Skills that he taught me I still use today and now teach those same skills to my employees. Art started off as my boss but we ended up as friends. Even after Art sold his company we remained in touch and I have very fond memories of my visits with Val and Art in Palm Springs. Having spent a lifetime around entrepreneurs, Art will go down in my memory as the most balanced that I have ever met. Driven, but compassionate. Demanding, but caring. Successful and generous.
