Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNETTE VIOLETTE ROSE LAPOINTE (nee VERNE) Janet passed away peacefully on December 18, 2018, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her parents, Evangeline (nee Lavallee) and John; husband Maurice and son Paul. Left to remember Janet is her sister Marguerite; her children, Doris (Dennis), Brian (Peggy), Daniel, Doreen (Valter) and daughter-in-law Georgette. Grandma's pearls of wisdom, sense of humour and loving generosity will be cherished forever by her grandchildren, Sean (Danielle), Tina (Shawn), Kurtis (Hillary), Samantha (Brendan) and Johanna; great-grandchildren Isaac, Aubrey, Ethan and Kennedy. She loved getting together with friends over coffee, laughing and sharing stories. Sincere gratitude to the caring staff, Fourth Floor, Beacon Hill Lodge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. A memorial service will be held in La Salle, MB in the summer of 2019.
