Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEVERLEY JEAN CONNERY (nee SAGER) 1934 - 2019 Bev Connery, beloved wife of Ed Connery, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Portage General Hospital at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her brother Edwin; sons, Doug and Jeff and daughter Jackie. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Ed; brother Phil; son Tim; daughters-in-law, Paulette and Beth; son-in-law Ron; grandchildren, Jarrett, Erin (Gil), Sheri (Dusty), Scott, Sam (Kyle) and Chris (Lisa) and their families; a large extended family and many friends. Celebration of Bev's life will be held at Trinity United Church, Portage la Prairie, on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., led by Rev Beth Kerr. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bev's memory to Central Plains Cancer Services, 318 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8 or to PAWS, 121 12 St. N.E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 4A2. Dave and I so sorry to hear of Bev's passing, She was a generous and kind lady and I have many lovely memories of the time my family spent as neighbours of the Connerys on Roe Street.
