ROSE OZUBKO Peacefully, Rose Ozubko passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019, at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Edward, of 53 years; daughter, Kim Ozubko (Craig Swistun); son, Kurtis; grandsons, Alex and Eric Swistun; sisters, Stella Bidochka and Nellie Schwaroski; and brother Bob Bidochka. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Annie Bidochka; two sisters, Helen Bidochka and Muriel Pradinuk. Rose was born on April 13, 1936, in Rossburn, Manitoba. The family would like to thank Dr. Peter Bialy and the other doctors, nurses and support staff at The Seven Oaks General Hospital for their love and utmost care and support through this difficult time. A special thanks to all the Home Care aides in caring for Rose. ln keeping with Rose's wishes, cremation has taken place with interment at a later date. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, at 10:30 a.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with Father Frank Szadiak officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can made to CancerCare Manitoba, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or The Parkinson Society.

Dear Ed and family, Steve and I were always happy to see Rose during our visits to the hospital. Rose was always happy, positive and cheerful. Ed, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know it has been many years since I have seen you or Rose, but I still have the fondest memories of what a dedicated, caring person Rose was. Many of us envied the wonderful relationship you had, so loving, so special!! I hope the good memories you and your family have of Rose will help ease your pain during this sorrowful time. Rose will always be remembered as a loving woman whose name suited her well. Her ready smile and warmth even in times of adversity were very special to all who knew her.
