My Aunt Emilie was a most kind and generous person. She was a glue that kept the family together not only by her contributions to bring family to Sweden, but also with her interest in the accomplishments of her grandnieces and nephews. I know she was our daughters' greatest cheerleader when it came to their scholastic and athletic achievements. Up until the end, she followed the progress of my husband's cancer and our new island home. I would have loved to send her the news and pictures that were waiting for Arne's critique. I truly believe that she was not ready to leave, as I know sharing a visit to Iceland and our home were left undone. We will grow a herbal garden that you'll be proud of.
