SGT. ROBERT CLIFFORD (WHITEY) CRAIG April 28, 1928 - January 14, 2019 Born in Shoal Lake, MB and served 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Military Policeman where he was stationed in France and many locations throughout Canada. Retiring from the Armed Forces in 1977, he brought his family to Winnipeg where he worked security at the airport for 15 years. In retirement he enjoyed watching sports and continued to pay regular visits to the downtown YMCA well into his 80s. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirley and son Bill. The family thanks the staff of Concordia Hospital for the care they provided in his final weeks. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service is planned. In lieu of cards or flowers, it's requested that you take the time to sign an organ donor card.
