IRENE KEEBLE April 30, 1919 January 4, 2019 Peacefully, after a life well lived, Irene passed away on January 4, at the age of 99. Irene was born in Dagenham, Essex, England; came to Canada as a war bride in the spring of 1945. She was predeceased by her loving husband Roy, of 65 years; her parents, Edward and Beatrice Gee; sister Brenda and three brothers, John, Edward and George. Mom is survived by her daughters, Brenda Unfried (Charles), Sandra Solar (Donald) and sister-in-law Peggy Gee. Nana will be dearly missed by her five grandchildren, Christopher Unfried, Carla Machado (Shawn), Meaghan Colgan (Brent), Jessica Josselyn (Stuart) and Adam Solar. Seven great-grandchildren, Gavin and Landen Colgan; Sydnee and CJ Machado; and William, Michael and Samuel Josselyn brought joy and laughter to GG's life. She will also be missed by many extended family and friends. A special thank you to the staff of Kildonan Long Term Care for the excellent care that Mom received. A private family memorial and inurnment took place January 19 at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
