STANLEY GUDMUNDUR JONASSON July 21, 1934 - January 27, 2019 Stan peacefully passed away, in the arms of his wife and soulmate of 56 years, at the Red River Place in Selkirk, MB. He is survived by his wife Barb; nephew Les (Marj) and their sons, Allan (Diana) and their grandson James; Ian (Becky) and their grandson Logan; nephew Jim (Irene) and their son Greg; cousins, Maryann, Geraldine and Beverley. Stan is also survived by his brother-in-law Barrie Tully and family; his daughter Debbie (Lyle) Iriam, daughter Karen Brown and her children, Jeremy, Jasmine, Violet, Ivy and Ezra, son Bryon Tully along with Stacey Allan whom Stan considered his "special little girl". He was predeceased by his parents, Kris and Lilja Jonasson; sister and brother-in-law Ethel and Steve Runolfson; great-nephews, Jeff and baby Steven Runolfson; cousins, Charlie and Garry, along with in-laws, Ernie and Margaret Tully. Stan was so proud of his Icelandic heritage and was thrilled to be Afi to Kailey Allan. He was known as a kind and gentle man and will be missed by many. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. A private graveside service will be held at a future date in the Otto Churchyard Cemetery in Lundar, MB where he was born. I will love you always and forever, honey.
