STANLEY MITCHELL On November 30, 2018, Stanley Mitchell passed away at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, at the age of 92. He was born in Winnipeg on January 12, 1926 and grew up outside of Beausejour, MB. Stanley was predeceased by his parents, Ida and Harry Mitchell; and all of his brothers and sisters, Edward (Teddy), Harold, John, Doris, Grace and Zoe. He leaves to mourn his passing, his remaining nephew and nieces, Doreen of Merlin, ON, Hafeezah and James of Chatham, ON, Gail of Burnaby BC, Freda of Winnipeg, MB; and other extended family. Stanley left Winnipeg for Vancouver, where he lived for most of his adult life. He was an avid movie goer and golfer, which he enjoyed up to the last year of his life. He will be missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew him, including his golfing buddies, Marvin and Dat. Cremation has take place, in accordance with his wishes, and a private memorial service will be held in Beausejour in the spring of 2019.
