I was totally shocked upon hearing of Margaret's passing. Having just received the most beautiful letter and card this past Xmas. I have known Margaret since grade 6 right through high school, plus being a neighbor. Remembered the good times making hot chocolate at Maple Leaf C.C. in Transcona when Frank & my late husband Lorne coached each others' kids' hockey. Margaret's mom was the one who taught me how to knit, we had just laughed about that in our last letter. She was small in stature but with a big heart. She was my nurse at ST.B. when I shattered my knee cap, always checking in on me to see if I needed anything, everyone in the ward just loved her. My thoughts and prayers are with you Frank and the whole family she was such an amazing person. Rest in peace Margaret you will be dearly missed. Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss. You are in a beautiful part of the country. I was born in Kenora and spent a few years there as a child. - Posted by: Ann Andrews (Thompson) (Trained at St Boniface in same class) on: Feb 02, 2019
