PAT O'BRIEN On Tuesday, January 29, 2019 Patricia Gail O'Brien (nee Ducharme) lost her short battle with Lung Cancer. She was predeceased by parents, Bernice and Lawrence Ducharme, as well as her sister Theresa Ducharme. She leaves to mourn her husband Dan, son Ian (Sarah), grandchildren, Dakota, Kain, (mom-Boni), her dog Pearl, along with sisters, Shirley, Jean (James), Sandy (Brian), Carol (Joe), Marlene (Doug), and only brother Bernie (Yvonne). Pat was aunt, sister-in-law, cousin to many. Pat was born at the Victoria Hospital when it was located on River Avenue in Winnipeg. She went on to work almost 30 years at the Vic and loved her many friends and colleagues. A special thank you goes to Dr. Sharkey of the Vic for his dedication and compassion towards our sister always, it was truly appreciated. Pat's love and dedication to her family gave her comfort. Pat loved to garden and work on various crafting projects. We would like to thank the many nurses in Palliative Care as well as the staff of Riverview. In lieu of flowers, feel free to make a donation to the Manitoba Lung Association or CancerCare Manitoba in Winnipeg. She will be missed.
