She is survived by her son Eric Jr. (Chona); daughter Verna; grandchildren, Melani (Hayley), Sean and Lenore; great-grandchildren, Kendra, Trevor, Adam, Ethan and Jillian, and her friend JR (aka Maguilicuddy). Vera was predeceased by her parents, Mary Ann and Frederick Alfred Niblett, her brother Frederick George Niblett, first husband Colin Parfinuk, and second husband Eric Simpson Sr.
