Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Got too know Denny when we played for the St. Vital Mustangs, way back. Denny was a solid guy, and a great friend. I will miss talking to him about the Jets and Bombers and, that wicked sense of humour. Rest in peace bud. - Posted by: Tim More (Friend) on: Feb 15, 2019

  • So sorry to hear of my old friend's passing. I have so many memories all good with lots of laughs. I will miss Dennis but will never forget him. Rest in peace and God Bless. - Posted by: John Bedbrook (Friend) on: Feb 14, 2019

  • It breaks my heart to hear my buddy Dennis has passed on. I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to this selfless, generous, kind and hilarious man who I had many a good laugh with. Dennis and I go way back to the late 80s. I was his secretary when he worked in the Labour Movement. He was a true union activist and I was proud to work with him. He loved his children Chris and Tara and raised them basically on his own...not something too many fathers would take on back then. His love for his grandchildren was like no other. My husband Perry and I will miss his visits and calls out to Lac du Bonnet. My only regret is that we never got a chance to go and visit him in Steep Rock. Gonna miss you my friend...rest easy. • I'm sorry for your loss. He was a funny guy. We used to chat on our coffee breaks at work. I will miss his stories and his smile. He often made me laugh. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Tania D (Past co-worker) on: Feb 14, 2019

  • There are many who will miss Dennis in their own way. We have camped at the same campground(s) for many years and seen each others families grow up. I will miss our morning coffees at the lake. He always gave advise when you had a problem and a shoulder to cry on when it was needed. I will never forget how fast he moved when a snake crawled under him on the beach. I still laugh about it. Good memories never die. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Marlene (Friend) on: Feb 14, 2019

  • So sorry to hear about Dennis so very sad for the family. Dennis was always a happy, funny man but he was also serious as over the years he was my numbers man and never found anyone who could replace him for that. Dennis always was their when I needed support with the girls and parents. I will always remember some of the talks we had and more so all the laughs we shared on trips.
