FRANKLIN PAUL PITURA Franklin Paul Pitura passed away, peacefully in his sleep, February 16, 2019, at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 75. The beloved husband, father and grandfather is survived by sons, Paul (Lisa) and Darren (Shannan Calcutt), and grandchildren, Ella and Julian. He also leaves behind his loving wife Evelyn, and sister Barbara Norton (Ken). A wonderful father, husband and friend, Frank's service to his community, and his kindness, generosity and good humour will be greatly missed. A memorial will take place on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any favourite charity.

  • Evelyn, Paul and Darren, we know, Ev, Frank and you as a couple spread yourselves widely, in many circles and into various communities. At Domain, Frank gave fully and happily with his time whether it be our church choir, helping young sports teams, and serving on many community Boards. He brought sincerity and integrity to all of these tasks. I enjoyed curling and singing and blowing a trombone next to him. He accepted the public call on many occasions, and made the community proud in discharging well his responsibilities as the Morris MLA for eight years. Well done Franklin. Rest in peace.
