Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Aunt Edie was such a great individual, strong and with a huge and loving heart. Myself and my daughter Laura Springer have many fond memories with our dear Aunt Edie. Edie was my mother's sister (Irene Glover nee: O'Malley) and, she visited her in Calgary a few times. The visits were always too short for the two of them to catch up with all the past good times and to catch up on the current times. Edie's daughter, Alice and husband Doug, were very involved with Edie while in Selkirk, and we appreciate their love and attentive care provided. Edie was always interested in the farm and how the weather was going to affect the crops and when they could get onto the fields. Aunt Edie was 103 years old and had a very long and productive life, we will always remember her. Love Pat Glover and Laura Springe and Families. - Posted by: Patrick Glover (Nephew ) on: Feb 22, 2019

  • We had the pleasure of meeting Edith while Robert’s mother, Isabella, was in Red River Place. Your mom always passed her newspaper on to mom when she was finished reading it. She was a kind and gentle person and we always enjoyed our short visits with her. Our condolences. - Posted by: Robert and Judy Chamberlain (Friend) on: Feb 21, 2019
