  • Our Sweet Auntie Lena, you will be so dearly missed. Many fond memories we will hold in our hearts. Our New Years day parties where you and Auntie Rose would always and insist to lend a helping hand (well into your mid 90s,) and both of your exceptionally delicious lemon meringue pies! Seeing you both dancing at Club Regent or McPhillips Street Station while watching nephews play in bands, or enjoying a party. (again well into your mid 90s). Visiting and playing cards and telling stories. Kumba pierogies and visits with our Dad and Mom - George and Lil, who I am sure greeted you, along with the Angels, HOME - Both you and Auntie Rose are like two wildflowers growing together in the prairie grasses. And not one - without the other. Hearts are saddened for Auntie Rose And all your family! Sending our prayers and OUR kisses Heaven bound. Until we meet again. - Posted by: Don and Cheri Kasianchuk (Great-niece and nephew) on: Feb 28, 2019

  • We only knew her such a short time but she made us feel like part of the family. Always making sure that we were taken care of when we would visit and that we were comfortable. We will remember her lovely laughter when Dave would dress as the bishop and me as an angel and pay her a visit. Her work on this earth is complete and God has called her home to rest. Many tears will fall from the ones left behind but she will always live in our hearts.
