THELMA MOTYER Thelma Motyer (Dorosh) died peacefully on February 22, 2019 at the Charleswood Personal Care Home. She was born February 28, 1921 on the family farm in Vita, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her husband George, son Barry and her siblings, brothers, John, Alec, Steve, Peter, Bill and Mike and sisters, Ann Stefiuk and Mary Prokipchuk. Thelma is lovingly remembered by her daughter Barbara (Terry), son James (Sara) and daughter-in-law Joyce. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families. Thelma worked at Eatons as a head cashier for many years. She was kind, generous, funny, and was a great cook who loved to entertain. She loved her family and friends and caring for them gave her great joy. Special thanks to the staff at Charleswood Personal Care Home for the wonderful care they gave and thank you to Thelma's roommate Izzy and her family for the time they spent with her. A celebration of her life will take place this summer.
