Condolences & Memories (10 entries)

  • Delight, that is how I feel when I think of Lucy speaking of her Mom. I remember Lucy inviting me over for dinner and running upstairs to pick up a dish Evelyne prepared for our dinner together. Now I wish that we would have invited her to join us. She had a smile on her face and pride in her eyes whenever I saw her. Thank you for the time we spent together, though short, memorable. Rest in Peace until we meet again. Deborah Chester - Posted by: Deborah Chester (friend of family) on: Mar 23, 2019

  • I’ve known Evelyne for many years and have always loved her smile and the twinkle in her eye. My condolences to Danny and Lucie and family. It was so wonderful to see you today at her celebration of life. She was a lucky lady to have such a caring and devoted family. May she Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Patti Kusturok (Friend) on: Mar 16, 2019

  • Our most sincere condolences to you Lucie and Danny. Your mom was a very special friend to both my parents. We have great memories of both your Mom and Dad, with music and song! She was always such an easygoing person who loved life and loved to laugh! Now she will share her laughter in the heavenly kingdom. Hugs to all of you 🙏😊 - Posted by: Paulette Desmarais (Friend ) on: Mar 15, 2019

  • My dearest grandma, I will be there soon to celebrate your life and speak to you through all my love and words. - Posted by: Jessalyn Roussin (Granddaughter) on: Mar 14, 2019

  • Lucie I can see the resemblance in you to your mom. I understand you took very good care and loved your mom like she loved you. Not every person has that bond. You can be proud of that. Hopefully that will assist you and your family in your life now without your dear mom. Hugs to you Lucie. • Evelyne and Claudette attended school at St. Charles many years ago. We enjoyed having them during the holidays and they have always held a special place in my heart. I offer my deepest sympathies to her children. May she rest in peace in the God's arms. Will say special prayers for her as she travels to her final home. Je t'aime Evelyn! • We extend our most sincere condolences to Lucy, Danny and family. We remember many good times with your parents - wonderful couple. I met your mother at St. Charles Convent at the age of 6. It was a "fun" time. I do recall one instance where your mother and another girl at the convent decided to "run away". They were caught a few blocks from the convent and returned. Evelyn and I had good chuckles about that in our later years. George and I will always remember your parents fondly. - Posted by: Sharon and George Lepine (Friends) on: Mar 14, 2019

  • We wish you the very best Evelyne and we know that you are in the hands of the Lord now and living in eternal peace. We will miss you my dear friend. You were always more like a sister to me rather than a sister-in-law. You were the sister that I never had. - Posted by: Joanne and Harry Roussin (Sister-in-law) on: Mar 14, 2019
