Connie, and her husband Jim, were the greatest supporters of their family and never missed a birthday, sports event, school accomplishments, wedding, bar mitzvah, and any other special or regular family occasion, too many to count. Connie was well known for her sewing and knitting skills and made numerous costumes, clothing, sweaters, etc. over the years for each of us. The cottage at Winnipeg Beach was also a family favourite to spend time with all the relatives. Just like Connie's commitment and dedication to our family, Connie worked for Pioneer Grain for 30 plus years and was very well respected within the company. Connie will be missed but always remembered for her big smile, care, compassion, kindness and her enduring support of family. Cremation and private interment have taken place. Friends and family are invited to Carol and Ross's home, 218 Foxmeadow Drive, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16 to celebrate Connie's life. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)
Connie was the sweetest auntie. Her warmth and gentle nature were so welcoming. We had dinners and shopping for antique books when I had a chance to be in Winnipeg. Connie was so interested in how we all were doing and how the kids were doing in sports and school. We had regular phone calls and updates on the Blue Bombers and always felt so loved! We will miss you aunt Connie you beautiful smile and your loving hugs. - Posted by: Shannon Turner (Niece by marriage ) on: Mar 14, 2019
