  • Mr. Birchall, the loss of another great neighborhood parent. He tolerated our love of motorcycles, as well as the rest of our dads. He let us turn his ping pong table into a pool table. We hung out in your home, where we were always welcomed. Gary, Gaye, Laurie. My condolences to you and your families. Sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Douglas Sawatzky (Friend and neighbor ) on: Mar 20, 2019

  • I have many fond memories of Mr. Birchall joining the neighbourhood kids in a game of touch football in the park or a game of golf at Rossmere. He was one of the many parents in the area that contributed to a treasured and memorable childhood. Condolences to Gary, Gaye and Laurie. - Posted by: Greg Sawatzky (Old neighbourhood kid) on: Mar 19, 2019

  • Sending condolences to Gary, Gaye and Laurie. Reading about his love of sports made me think of watching Original 6 NHL hockey playoffs in your rec room. I have thought in hindsight I was lucky to enjoy those games with your dad, my Dad and Mrs Kullman and Hobday. Your dad was very nice to let a little boy spend time with these gentlemen. Sincerely, Lee - Posted by: Lee Burton (An old neighbor n) on: Mar 17, 2019
