JOSEPHINE (JOSIE) BUCKLEY March 20, 1932 - March 11, 2019 After a lengthy battle with dementia, Josie passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 in Winnipeg at the age of 86 years, just 9 days short of her 87th birthday. Josie is survived by her son Greg (Valerie), and their children, Amy (Cory), Cameron and Abby; daughter Caroline and her children, Caitlin and Mackenzie; son John (Cindy) and their children, Tara and Jessica (Lorne). She was predeceased by her parents, Bartholomew and Caroline, and her 11 siblings all from Cork, Ireland. Mom was the youngest of 12 children. In 1967 she moved to Winnipeg with her three children and their father Frank. Mom worked a variety of jobs both in Cork and Winnipeg. She enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Roman Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Boulevard at Grant Avenue with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault presiding. Everyone is invited to the lower Parish hall for a light snack following Mass. Mom will be interred in Cork, Ireland with her parents and family.
