Doris & family. With sad hearts we received word of Jack's passing. In the many years we both toiled for Environment Canada, our paths crossed often. Each time contributing to our pleasant memories bank - thank you Jack! Doris, our thoughts are with you, he will be missed! I just found out this evening (Wednesday) or I would have made it to the funeral. Jack was so kind and joyful, always helpful and taking moments to connect with folks. Doris and him are the type of couple my husband and I aspire to be, playful with one another, caring with those around them and passionately working together for a better world. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and so joyous to have known him. Sending you love Doris! - Posted by: Tessa Blaikie Whitecloud (Friend) on: Mar 20, 2019

We are deeply saddened to learn of Jack's passing. He was such a good man, highly respected and kind, especially to this couple of "Newfies". Although so many miles physically separated us, we have the fondest memories of our times in Jack's company. So very happy that I (Pam) was able to visit and enjoy a lovely evening with my Winnipeg friends in September. Love 'n Hugs to those close to Jack, especially Doris......we will never forget him. Our Sincere Sympathy...… Pam & Rob - Posted by: Rob Thomas and Pam Penney Thomas (Friends) on: Mar 20, 2019
