MARIE MULLER The family of Marie Mauricette Helen Muller, Miriam Bat Shmuel V'Frima, deeply mourn her passing on March 18, 2019. Born September 5, 1932 in Paris, Marie was an only child, Holocaust survivor, a wife, a real Yiddishe mama, a Bubbi and balabuste, lifelong friend, Massada chapter president, diplomat, a renaissance woman, the boss' boss, and an honorary Auntie. She wore her many titles like she wore her many hats - with dignity and grace, with unbelievable class. Marie Muller was a true Eshet Chayil (Woman of Valour). She spent her early years as a hidden child in France under horrific conditions. Her father, a member of the French Resistance as well as her mother, were taken to their deaths to Auschwitz following a round-up of Jews. Marie arrived to Canada in 1948 and soon after, met the love of her life, Teddy. Together they built a family, home and business. Art Upholstering was nurtured by Teddy's skillful hand, but was always guided by Marie's magic touch. Marie was a monument to resilience, decorum and decency. She will be profoundly missed by her loving husband of 69 years, Teddy, her children, Laya and Marshall Kneller, grandchildren, Kyle (Carol), Gabi (Benji) and Skye, great-grandchildren, Alex and Maddy; son Marvin (Bella) Ben-Ari, granddaughters, Timna and Ilana, and their mother Caroline; and her beloved extended family, including Edith and Sandi Kneller. Marie was predeceased by her granddaughter Jada. Cher Marie, adieu mon coeur.
