September 19, 1946 - March 31, 2019

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Leonard Chopp on March 31, 2019, after a hard courageous battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his father Joseph.
He leaves to mourn his loving partner Blanche of 29 years; son Jason (Tara) and family, and daughter Lisa and family, as well as his stepsons, Kevin, and Darren (Jessie). He is also survived by his mother Victoria, four brothers and one sister, numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Seasons Funeral Chapel, 576 Balsam Crescent in Oakbank, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Steinbach CancerCare, 316 Henry Street, Steinbach, Manitoba R5G 0P9.

  • So sorry to read that Lenny has left us. We have enjoyed watching him getting up on that huge load of bales. Always amazed that he never fell. My last memory of him was walking west through a total white out, in our field, he actually made it to the truck on the other side of the creek, and sure enough there he was driving past our house with his load of bales.
